Service Description

This 40-hour class builds on the concepts first introduced to the rescue professional during FLUSAR Rope Rescue Operator. FLUSAR Rope Rescue Technician provides students with the skills necessary to conduct operations at technical rescue incidents safely and effectively. Students will learn how to make operational decision based on the following considerations: hazard analysis, risk assessment, training level of personnel, availability of internal and external resources. This course meets or exceeds the applicable sections of NFPA 1670, Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Search and Rescue Incidents.
